Scope of service, liability limits, and the rules that govern every steel roofing engagement we take on in Malaysia.
Each agreement defines the exact steel roofing scope: truss fabrication, crane-assisted installation, coating systems, and site handover. Work outside this list requires a separate written addendum before we mobilise any crew.
The client provides site access, verified structural drawings, and a clear equipment staging area. Meilleurcouvreur supplies certified welders, lifting plans, and daily progress reports. Both sides must flag safety hazards within one working day.
We are liable for defects in our own fabrication and installation work for the warranty period stated in the contract. We are not liable for damage caused by unapproved modifications, extreme weather events, or loads that exceed the agreed design limits.
Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. If the client cancels after fabrication starts, they cover material costs already committed. If we fail to meet a contractual milestone without a valid reason, the client may end the contract with no penalty.
We review these terms every six months or when Malaysian construction regulations change. Updated versions apply to new contracts only. Existing agreements stay under the terms that were in force when they were signed.
Questions about these terms go to info@meilleurcouvreur.com or +60 10 214 0131. Our office is at Jalan Bako, Kuching, Sarawak, 93000, Malaysia. We respond to legal correspondence within five working days.
