The first structural review of a warehouse roof in Penang flagged several issues that did not show up in the original design package. The main change was adding intermediate bracing along the 40-meter span because the wind load model underestimated the exposure on the east elevation. We also swapped the standing seam profile for a trapezoidal sheet after the contractor pointed out that the seam clips would slow down the install.
